Kenya’s only performing governor, Dr Alfred Mutua is not being left
behind in the ‘selfie’ bandwagon. They have become a common thing of the
modern society with public figures such as President Obama also
featuring in a selfie moment during the burial of the late Nelson
Mandela.
On Thursday 27, the Machakos County Governor held a meeting with the
British High Commissioner to Kenya, Dr. Christian Turner and
representatives from 5 companies in the UK looking to invest in the
county. They also visited the Machakos People’s Park for a tour and
after the successful meeting, the two leaders took time to pose for
selfies at the Park’s entrance.
