Sources say the incident happened inside the girl's hostel room near the Presco campus of the institution.
According to a hostel resident who pleaded anonymity, after the man died, the lover girl took the man's body to his car and drove straight to the police station where she reported the incident. She was immediately arrested and some of the hostel residents were also arrested.
Some of the hostel residents fled so as to evade police arrest.
"I did not know what was happening until when police stormed our hostel and began to arrest everybody on sight. But from what I heard the man visited the girl and in the process of making love, he died," the source said.
It could not be ascertained whether the man was a mere acquaintance to the girl or not but it was gathered that she is currently helping the police in the investigation of the incident.
The incident was confirmed by the Police spokesman in the state, ASP Chris Anyanwu, adding that he had not been fully briefed on the incident.
