The lawyer, who is also the owner of Nairobi Law Monthly magazine
took to Twitter to give his sensational opinion that Al-Shabaab were
not involved in the Mpeketoni attacks and that the attacks were
political in nature.
He wrote;
"Deficit in Credibility and competence undermine
govt's version of attacks but there is a good chance that Al shabab
played zero role in both.
The attack was designed with two aims
(a) show Kenyans that their govt is hopeless and (b) by targeting
kikuyus trigger chain revenge.
Attackers came from malindi's direction.
In
matters like these attacks don't go for the obvious believable
version.Go for the improbable version.That is where the truth hides!!
Al shabab's claim is a textbook example on brand building."
