The 23 old Australian woman who who deliberately poisoned her daughter
with chemotherapy and then turned to facebook for sympathy and
attention last year has been jailed for six years. The woman is said to
have given her 4 year old daughter the drugs over a nine-month period
and set up a web page saying her daughter needed a bone marrow
transplant.
The drugs caused the child, who did not have cancer, to
suffer life-threatening bone marrow failure last year. The woman
pleaded guilty to grievous bodily harm and was sentence to 6 years in
jail. The girl, who was close to death last year, was now being cared
