Among the cartoons of the public figures he had drawn and which he showed Jeff included that of digital President Uhuru Kenyatta, perennial election loser, Raila Odinga and NTV’s Larry Madowo.
KTN’s Jeff Koinange could recognize the cartoons of Raila Odinga and Uhuru Kenyatta but not for Larry Madowo.
“Who is this now. My oh My? Is he really a Kenyan.” Jeff sarcastically asked the guest and he told him that it was NTV’s Larry Madowo who hosts the Trend Show.
“Larry what? Madondo, wait Matoto? Is he a singer, a rapper or what does he do?”Jeff asked the guest and he told him that he is a respected journalist in the Country.
And this didn't go down well with Larry Madowo and when he hosted his show on Friday, he came back on Jeff Koinange guns blazing.he told him to get some manners and come out of ignorance.
“I hear some ignorant people don’t know my name. I am Madowo not Madondo and I host the popular show the Trend. Next time show respect” Said Larry while taking jabs at Jeff Koinange.
It’s not clear whether Jeff was just mocking Larry Madowo or he simply doesn’t know him.And if indeed Jeff was pretending not to know him then that is belittling the most popular journalist in kenya right now.
