The United Nations Issues Red Alert on Kenya… Claim Al Shabaab Will Strike again Soon

The United Nations office in Nairobi has warned of an imminent terrorist attack in Nairobi specifically targeting high end places in Nairobi usually frequented by foreigners. The warning comes a day after “Al Shabaab” sent a warning to tourists planning on visiting Kenya to steer off or risk getting attacked.
In the statement on Monday after the Mpeketoni attack, the Somali based ragtag threatened that Kenya will never know peace as long as its troops are in Somalia.
The UN Intel office issued a red alert in Kilimani specifically Hurlingham, Yaya Centre, the Junction Mall in Nairobi. The agency also warned its staff (most of whom are foreigners) against frequenting the said areas.
Meanwhile, former Prime Minister, Raila Odinga, has said President Uhuru’s statement regarding the Mpeketoni terror attack is unfortunate and may compromise investigations. In a statement to the Press on Wednesday afternoon, Raila said Cabinet Secretaries and Permanent Secretaries for Defence and Interior Coordination should be replaced with immediate effect.
He also said CORD rallies will continue as scheduled.
