He
claims that Kenyatta in conjunction with Mama Ngina, evicted him
from his land to build a Presidential palace in the three and a
half acres land
.
Mungai filed the case in 2012 requesting the
court to order Mama Ngina return the land to him. He also wants compensation for
imprisonment forced by Kenyatta so that he can grab the land.
However,
Mama Ngina argues that the case should be thrown out since it’s time barred.
On his part, Attorney
General Githu Muigai, claims that the case should be thrown out since Mungai has
not explained why he waited for more than 12 years to file the case.
But Mungai argues that he couldn’t have filed the case earlier because he feared for his
life.
The case is
currently at High Court and it will ruled on February 2 2015.
